Our Lady Enterprise: My First Feelings

The young avatar of the ship named the U.S.S. Enterprise smiled as she watched a planets sun rise from the view port window.

"Another beautiful day!"

Her stomach growled. She blushed it off as she formed a fist full of determination.

"All right! I gotta make breakfast!"

The energetic avatar happily walked into the mess hall.

"All right I'm back!"

She smiled.

"This morning, we're having grilled macaroni and cheese with..."

She stopped at seeing Ensign Pavel Chekov packing a duffel bag full of things.

"Welcome back, Lady Enterprise. You're back early!"

Pavel greeted her with a warm smile.

"Yeah, I guess I've gotten used to the route. But.."

She looked at the navigator a little confused.

"But isn't it your day off today? You're up so early today.."

The avatar looked at the star, moon, and comet like cookies in the microwave.

"I guess so, huh."

Ding! The microwave rings.

"Ah! It's done!"

The Ensign takes out the cookies out of the mircowave and into into a basket. The avatar eyes shine brightly as she smells the warm smell of freshly baked cookies.

"Ah! Those cookies look delicious!"

"Yeah, huh?"

She looks up at the mess halls clock.

"Oh! It's already so late!"

They both hear a shuttle docking at the Enterprise.

"Oh no, I have to go. Here Enterprise."

Pavel hands the basket of cookies to her. And heads out to door with duffel bag in hand.

"But what am I supposed to do with these?"

The poor confused avatar runs after the Russian.

"Give them to Daniel! Bye!"

The smiling man waves goodbye as he walks into the shuttle bay door. The avatar pauses for a bit before chasing the Pavel into the shuttle room.

"Where are you going?"

She stops in surprise at seeing a super expensive shuttle. It was all curved like some kinda customized personal transport than the normal white clad transport shuttles she was used to seeing. It was even painted black. One of the windows roll down. Showing a smiling Chekov.

"I have one more favor to ask of you. Can you tell Daniel that... "

The shuttle starts up and starts heading for doors. The avatar chases after the black shuttle.

"Tell him what?"

Chekov cups his mouth as he yells back over the shuttle engines roar.

"Tell him to stay on top of things even without me!"

The shuttle makes its way into space. While the avatar watch's its engine lights greeting harder and harder to see in the darkness of space. She looks at the basket of cookies.

"Creator. Ensign Chekov left like the wind, leaving only the scent of cookies in his wake."

A cold like wind blows the avatars Enterprise engine like white twin ponytails back.

Commander Spock walks onto shuttle bay. Carrying what looks like to be Kirks laundry load.

"Enterprise, I'm taking out the garbage."

The avatar snaps out of staring at The Ensigns last know location.

"Commander!"

She runs after the ships first officer.

"Ensign Chekov just got into this enormous shuttle and..."

"Huh? He left already?"

The Vulcan said in his typical emotionless voice.

"What did you mean by that?"

The avatar asked without hesitation.

"What do you think I mean by it?"

The Vulcan raised an eyebrow at her.

"You saw it yourself, didn't you?"

The Vucan set the lundry next to some other suspicious looking trash bags.

"Jezz!"

Sulus irradiated voice was heard.

"I told you to keep your eyes on the floor."

The chief helmsman looked back at his partner getting out of the cargo loader.

"But..."

The chief engineer mumbled as his bruised forehead lit back and forth from white to red. The Scotsman suddenly droled ans he waved back and forth like a drunken fool.

"there were all these instruments so early in the morning..."

He slapped his face in glee.

"and they were of the rare excursion variety!"

The chief helmsman had heard enough and promptly smacked the prevy engineer on the head. The Enterpises avatar walked up to the two chiefs.

"I'm sorry to butt right in, but..."

Sulu gave the avatar a look.

"What's up?"

"It's just that, not long ago, Ensign Chekov got into this huge, sparkly, unknown car and then he was gone, whoosh! Like the wind!"

Sulu blinked.

"Oh yeah, today was the day, huh?"

Scotty comes out of nowhere into the conversation.

"It completely slipped my mind."

The puzzled avatar asks again.

"What, exactly, was today?"

"Chekov went home."

Sulu made a small smile.

The avatar lit up in surprise.

"...Home?"

Scotty smiled.

"You didn't know about it, did you, Enterprise?"

Enterprises face turned a little sad.

"But why did he go?"

"Because he had to."

Sulu smiled as he went on to explain the situation in more detail.

"Chekov comes from a noble, old family and hes the lord!"

He sighs as if thinking about something painful.

"They keep bothering him to go back and in the end, he had to."

The avatar ponders.

"Noble, old family A noble old family? And he's the lord?"

She starts imagining Pavel dressed up in a Russian lord like outfit.

"So him going back by shuttle means that...He was forced to go back?!"

The avatar yells in surprise. Not noticing a certain Yeoman is behind her.

"Chekov left, didn't he?"

The avatar shrieks in surprise.

"Officer Daniel! Well, you see, that is..."

"You're Back!"

Sulu cuts in to welcome the Yeoman. But the Yeoman walks away from the group as he heads out the door.

"This must be quite hard for him."

Scotty sighs.

"What are we going to do?!"

The avatar turns to the chiefs for support.

"Hmm"

Sulu sighs as he thinks.

"I don't know if there's anything we can do. I mean this is a trail , forcing Daniel to finally grow up!"

"But that's so cruel!"

The Enterprise says.

"It is hard. though."

Scotty speaks up.

"Being alone."

He looks at the worried avatar.

"So, Lady Enterprise!"

He starts jumping for her.

"Don't hold back! Come, fly straight to my arms! We can re look all you're specs again fufufu!"

Spock hits the Engineer with some random broom.

"Jezz, it's always the same thing with you."

They head back into the mess hall. The Enterprises avatar taste tests the food.

"Mmm, that's it."

Scotty chugs down a bottle worth of scotch. Sulu walks into the mess hall.

"Is breakfast done?"

"Yes!"

The avatar starts setting the food on the table.

"Thank you!"

Sulu smiles.

"Why don't I call Ensign Chekov and Officer Daniel?"

Sulu chuckles a bit.

"Chekov's not here."

"Oh! oh yah."

She walks over to where Daniel and Chekovs room.

"Uhm, Officer Daniel...Breakfast is ready."

The avatar is about to knock on the closed door. When she hears muffled crying that you might hear against a pillow. The avatar over reacts.

"Officer Daniel is crying!"

She starts fidgeting around trying to think on how to act in this situation.

"What should I do, what should I do? Chief Scotty said this was a trail for him finally become an adult, but still! It's so hard to when the person you love suddenly disappears! Officer Daniel needs Ensign Chekov to be around! Ah!"

She remembers something Chekov told her.

"Tell him to stay on top of things even without me!"

end of flashback.

"Could that possibly have been Ensign Chekov's last words to Officer Daniel?!"

Spock raises an eyebrow as he looks at worried avatar.

"What the heck are you doing up here, all by yourself?"

The avatar turns around in surprise.

"Co-Commander!"

She figets.

"How long have you been standing there? "

" I got sick of waiting around for you to get breakfast done."

He munches on one of the cookies in the basket. Avatar freak out.

"But Ensign Chekov made those cookies for...!"

Spock cuts her off.

"What are these? They aren't very sweet at all."

"Really?"

The avatar says with surprise. She takes a bite out of one of the cookies.

"They're salty."

She looks at the bitten cookie.

"These little cookies crystals aren't sugar; they're salt. Could this be..."

She gasps in surprise. The avatar mind wanders into imaginationland. Daniel cries as he is pushed back onto the floor. The cookies fall to the ground as well in this dream.

"This is to cruel, My Yunker! The flower meaning of salty cookies is "Goodbye forever". You're throwing me away! "

"Shut up!"

The Lord stomps his feet with his back facing Daniel.

"Our sweet time of leisure is over, baby!"

he grins with a clover like weed in his mouth.

"How could you?"

Daniel pleads.

"Don't leave me, My Yunker!"

He runs to hold is love.

"Let go of me; get off of me! I'm tired of you!"

The dream fades.

"Maybe Ensign Chekov didn't get called back his family after all. Maybe this is a cataclysmic separation?! "

The door opens. The Yeoman starts walking past Spock and Enterprise like hes all worn out zombie.

"Uhm, Ensign Chekov told me to give these to you-"

She offers him the basket.

"but I think he accidentally mixed up the sugar with salt."

She forces a laugh to try to lighten the mood.

"Thank you."

His lips quiver and soon covers his mouth as he bursts into tears. he runs back into the room with the basket of cookies.

"The flower meaning of salty cookies is "Goodbye forever".

The worried avatar mutters all worried like.

Spock gives her a look.

"What are you talking about?!"

The avatar fidgets.

"What are we going to do, Commander?"

Spocks gives him that dry Vulcan like look.

"We can only leave him alone."

He walks away.

"But that's terrible!"

Later on. Spock, Sulu, Scotty,Daniel, and the Enterprises avatar eat at one of the mess halls tables.

The avatar sips at her drink of juice while she watches Daniel all worried like. The Yeoman glances at her.

"I wasn't staring at you, I swear!"

The white skirted cook denys all failish like.

She hides her tears from everyone.

"How could this happen? Ensign Chekov and Officer Daniel were so close!"

A picture of the two kissing each other with a colorful flowers around them appears in her mind. She starts shaking her head at her thoughts.

"No, no, no, that's not what I meant! I can't tell him to just get along without him!

"Lady Enterprise, are you all right?"

Sulu asks.

"Oh yes!"

The avatar snaps out of her current mind set. The helmsman sighs.

"It feels kind of strange, having one person missing."

The avatar screams in panic.

"Anybody, can I refill you're drinks?!"

She slams her hands on the table. The avatar looks to see someones alcoholic beverage spilled over her mini skirt.

"Oh no!"

Scotty says with worry.

"Someone, bring a towel..."

He starts making his way to fetch a towel for the avatar. The avatar protests as she makes her way for the towel.

"I can do this!"

Scotty laughs.

"That's something Chekov would say."

The avatar starts clapping around the room.

"A mosquito! All right, you're safe!"

She smiles at Scotty.

"Oh. Thank you, Lady Enterprise."

Spock looks at both of them questionably.

"What is this all about?"

"Who knows?"

Sulu smiles.

"News, anyone?"

The Asian takes out a remote controller.

"Sure."

Spock says dryly.

Sulu turn on the news station.

"Our next story features the divorce of the couple they used to call the lovebirds...The wonderful couple getting a divorce? It seems they have finally come to an agreement."

Daniel turns around to view the screen. But Enterprise shuts it off with the remote.

"Why did you turn it off."

Sulu asks the smiling avatar.

"Well, there's this show that I really wanted to see..."

"All right. Why don't you change the channel then?"

"Okay!"

She starts faking a button press.

"Uhm...well...huh...Looks like the remote isn't working!"

Scotty smiles.

"I'll just turn the TV on directly then."

The avatar cries and manages to grasp onto the Chiefs hand before he is able to get any closer to the TV.

"Chief Scotty!"

"Huh?"

"You don't need to do that."

"Lady Enterprise?"

It looks into the very emotional avatars face.

"It's fine."

The Chief smiles all engineer lusty like.

"I'm glad you're finally accepting me!"

He grasps onto her hands. The avatar starts figeting

"That's not what I meant!"

She soon sees Daniel staring at them. or... The avatar follows Yeomans line of sight.

"Ensign Chekov left his syrup here!"

The avatar gets an idea.

"Let's do something even more fun. Cheif Scotty! Let's dance! "

They start dancing in front of Daniels line of sight. They start singing as well.

"La la la! La la la!"

Daniel sets down his plate.

"Thank you for the meal. I'm sorry that I couldn't finish it all. "

His eyes start getting all watery and he runs out crying.

"Daniel really isn't taking this well."

Scotty comments.

"It's all my fault."

The avatars eyes get just as teary as the Yeomans.

Scotty smiles.

"There's nothing you can do about it! But why don't we clean your clothes before the stain sticks? "

He smiles as with towel in hand.

"Huh?"

The avatar asks all confused.

"Why don't I help you?"

Prevy smile.

"Wait! Why are you touching me there?"

The distressed avatar asks as the Chief laughs. Spock and Sulu just stare at them.

"I don't think that's going to come out."

Spock says all space elf like.

"Yeah. It is Scottys scotch after all...."

[Randomman]

Enterprise looks at the empty mess hall.

"I can't let myself feel lonely now. The person feeling the loneliest is Officer Daniel. I'm not alone anymore!"

Her smile soon fades as she looks at the chair Chekov would used to sit out.

"Oh! Cringer!"

She looks for the big cat of the Enterprise. But all she finds is an empty bowl. Another gust of wind blows against her hair. She looks towards Daniel and Chekovs room.

"Or will there be a time when I'm alone again, Creator?"

The tea kettle starts whistling in the mess hall.

"Enterprise, the kettle's boiling."

Spocks call reaches the avatars ears.

"I'm sorry!"

She rushes into the mess hall. Spock rubs his eyes as he sits himself down on a chair.

"Staring at that little blue light all day hurts my eyes...oh?"

He looks at the clock.

"Is it this late already? What do you want to do for lunch?"

"Well, since both Chief Sulu and Chief Scotty are busy right now. I thought I could make some fried rice out of the leftovers."

"Sure. I'll be staring at the light until then."

Spock starts to take his leave.

"What about Officer Daniel's lunch? Should I ask him if he wants anything to eat? "

The avatar asks.

"Why don't you leave him alone? He brought this upon himself anyway."

The mess hall door closes.

"Oh. All right."

Later on. Spock rejoins Enterprise back on the mess hall tabe their group always tends to sit at. They both have a cups of tea, and two plates full of fried rice and a nice salad. The avatar thinks to herself during the silence.

"I guess they're all used to people leaving by now, by now."

Spock and her soon finish their lunch and start cleaning up the mess hall.

"I wonder if I won't feel lonely anymore either if I get used to it, too."

She goes over to Daniel place and leaves a wrapped up fried dish at his doorstep.

Soon shes back in the mess hall. and decides to rest her head on the table. She lets out a tired sigh.

"Don't go!"

An Actress yells on the TV

"Don't go, Mr.! Why do we have to end this suddenly?"

Enterprise looks at the TV a bit before wiping away a few tears.

"I can't stand this any longer! I..."

The TV lady starts heading for the busy highway like scene.

"I don't want to feel like this lonely anymore! I would rather..."

Daniel's face appears in Enterprises mind.

"Die."

"No, that can't happen!"

She starts shaking the screen.

"You don't have to be that lonely! I'm sorry! It's all my fault!"

Spock walks onto the scene.

"What are you doing, Enterprise?"

The avatar starts laughing gaily.

"The TV was acting a little funny, that's all."

Suddenly they start hearing someone running down the corridors. Enterprise looks at to see its Daniel crying.

"Huh? Officer Daniel?"

He pauses to look at her before running off somewhere.

"Where are you going, Officer Daniel?"

She runs after him before catching him. With a hug on the waist.

"I can't stand this any longer!"

"Huh?"

"I don't want to feel like this anymore! I would rather..."

Flashback of that sad drama on TV

"Die"

The avatar screams.

"No, you can't go!"

She cries as she tries to keep him in her hug like hold.

"No! I have to!"

"You can't go! No matter how bad it gets, it's not worth killing yourself over! Ensign Chekov himself said that you should try to get along without her! Huh?"

She looks at Daniel teary eyes as he clutches onto his face.

"I'll die, at this rate. I can't take the pain anymore."

He takes away his hand to show a large bump on his cheek.

"Pain, you say?"

Spock walks in on them.

"That's what Chekov and I kept trying to tell you! You need to go to the dentist!"

And later on...

The Yeoman looks in horror as McCoy coming closer to him with his drill.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

The Yeoman screams most unmanly like.

And back at the Mess Hall...

"So you went home to attend a memorial service?"

Chekov smiles close by his Yeoman who has band aid on his cheek.

"That's right. I wanted to go with Daniel, but, well..."

He moves closer to the blushing Yeoman.

"Well, maybe it's best that he didn't go with you."

Spock sipped at his tea.

"His face totally swelled up from that cavity."

"I don't want to be alone anymore."

He leans his head over to Chekovs head. Pavel smiles with an "Aw" and plants him a kiss on the forehead. the Yeoman blushes. The avatar smiles. But why did she still feel so lonely...

"I'm back! Anybody miss me!? "

"Captain!"

Enterprise runs over and gives him a hug.

"I missed you!"

She says crying a few tears of joy at seeing her Captain back.

"and I missed you two. You will always be my favorite lady."

He messes with her hair as she tightens his grip around him.

"I want everyone to be together forever like this. I'm jealous like that..."
