Captain Dusk leaned back from the map and stretched, tipping her chair. Then grabbed the huge book that the cabin boy had been reading and started to read it herself. She slipped her finger along the lines of sprawled foreign script. --- Norrington sat staring in shock at the page he'd been reading, this was the longest amount of coherent writing he'd seen written by Aramis. He wondered when it had been written and which ship he was talking about. --- Beckett cleared his throat a little, looking away from her corset strings and rather exposed cleavage. "Forgive me, it was rude of me not to tell you before however I'd assumed you would have already been informed. ((ooh someone's getting demoted)) My name is Lord Cutler Beckett. ((well 'lord' isn't my naame it's more of a title...))." He sat on the bed beside her. "It is difficult to say the least, but the work is-he eyed her corseted waist and exposed legs- rewarding."

Zéphyrine moved so she was sitting beside him, then rested her head on his shoulder. "Rewarding? Are you kidding me. I don't think they pay the navy nearly enough." Purposely missing the point, Jesus Christ. A clawed hand rested on Beckett's and Zéphyrine sighed, thought it was probably more out of stress than whatever way he was going to take it. She didn't care, her plan was get this over with and get out, hopefully before they were too far from the port.

(Randommman crawls his way into the kitchen. Feeling safe he takes out his logbook out of the freezer.) Randomman: let’s see. (Randomman starts writing with a pen. He makes sure not to waste any paper including the backside of each page.) Randomman: ok done for now! (Randomman quickly bookmarks the next page with his pen.) Randomman: Back to the freezer you go! (Randomman hides the logbook and goes back to patrolling the ship.)

Manning the helm, Aramis watched the crew as they went about their work. This time he wasn't going to let anything happen. This time he would make sure the crew stayed in their place. It had been close with the last crew, but he headed that off early, even though it lead to them abandoning the ship.
Suddenly he pulled his pistol, aimed, and fired, then ran down to the deck. Laying dead on the deck was, a seagull. Mmm, lunch time! he thought to himself. Picking it up, he scurried down towards the galley. He stopped and turned, realising that he had left the helm unmanned. 'Theodore! Man the wheel my good man. Keep watch for any sails on the horizon, I have, er, business to attend to.'
Without waiting for an answer he continued on his way, his prior train of thought temporarily obliterated, the prospects of a succulent seagull taking over.

The captain stretched after finishing a chapter, then went out onto the deck to make sure that Aramis had someone at the helm. She shaded her eyes. He did...however... "Theodore, is it possible for you to see anything -but- the helm in front of you?" At a mumble and a shake of his head she excused him from his duty and replaced him. It was good to be back at sea, and with a real crew at that, so she'd let this minor slip up slide. --- Norrington was starting to feel real thirsty despite how successful his night in Tortuga had been, but this small section of writing that he could actually read was hard to stop reading, it was too interesting. 'Captain Blacker introduced me to his new cabin 'boy' today, and as I suspected it turned out not to be a boy at all, but a pretty little lady called Dusk. A curious name I must say, it must be a family name. She seems pleasant company at least, and the captain seems to be enjoying teaching her how to read the charts. The crew so far seems to be competent at their job, and moral is good. I've been spending time in the galley, maybe a little too much, but I do miss cooking so. I fear though that if I'm not careful I will neglect my duties as first mate. The Captain relies on me make sure the ship runs smoothly, although I do wish that he would spend less time holed up in his cabin. I wonder what he has planned for the girl?' (Aramis ok'd) --- Beckett laughed insincerely. "I'm afraid that is where you are wrong, I find the pay quite suitable. This year I have-" He was interrupted by a sailor outside. "-sail ho!" "Oh what is it now." He stood up and straightened his coat, going outside onto the deck with out a word to Zepyrine. "Sir, we've spotted a ship on the horizon-they're flying pirate colours!" --- Captain Dusk squinted her eyes...not clouds. She sighed, a ship. Navy no doubt by the color and shape that she could make out from this far. "SAIL HO, ALL MEN TO YOUR STATIONS. LOAD THE CANNONS. Faster you scabrous dogs!" She glared at Larry as he failed miserably at tying a cannon in place for some reason.

(Randomman makes a dash of youth to the deck of the ship.) Randomman yelling: YOURE NOT TAKING THIS SHIP!! CAKE INVADERS!!!!!!!!! (Randomman runs off the deck into the water. Randomman starts doggy paddling very fast towards the navy. Big Gun watches him “swim”) Big Gun: …..Randomman. Randomman talking to himself: there’s no forking way cannons are going to stop me! Yah crazy with a k cake invaders! (Randomman dives under the ship and latches on to the ship like a leach.) Randomman talking to himself: good thing I just now learned to hold my breath (wth JUST NOW!? XD) (Randomman starts punching at the navy ship. The ship starts to form cracks on its “underbelly” XD)

Aramis scurried back onto the deck, seagull feathers sticking out from the corner of his mouth. Coughing, he pulled the rogue feathers out, and made for the mast. 'Rob, can see what colours they fly yet?'
'East India Trading Company Sir!' Aramis grinned to himself. Ah, excellent, just what I need. 'Looks to be a frigate Sir!' Now that could be a minor problem. Maybe he should have hired more crew members afterall... A frigate was no small ship, although The Midnight Hangman did have a comparable number of guns.
He made his way to Captain Dusk's side, eager to see how well she would be able to handle the attack. Hopefully she had learnt enough form Viktor and her experiences over the past 10 years. 'Well Captain, time to see how well we can handle her in a fight. Hopefulyl your renaming of the ship won't be a problem. You do know that it's unlucky to rename a ship don't you?'

((You mean the Midnight Hangman xP silly jetlag)) "Man overboard!" The Captain looked over, but realized it was only Randomman. He had Big Gun to protect him so she didn't worry. "Hahaha! It's not the most unlucky thing I've ever tried." She rubbed her hand, which had a cloth tied around it. Norrington came up to her side. "Master she's a frigate, do you really think that-?" "-We have a lot of cannons mate. She's a big one yes, East India Trading Company too!" Her eyes gleamed, actually looking focused on what she was doing for once. "We'll cripple her at the sails then board." --- Beckett calmly sipped a cup of tea and looked out over the back of the ship at the approaching pirate vessel. "Bring her around, load all of the port side cannons." He considered. "Prepare to board." The first mate passed on the order.

(Randomman punched a hole into the ship and entered the ship. He quickly plugs up the hole with his jar of cake.) Randomman: Look out cake invaders. I am here! (Randomman proceeds to run/look for cake invaders and beat them up. Big Gun starts disabling the navy's cannons with a gun ho barrage of cannon balls.)

Zéphyrine knew there was trouble below, and she wasn't sure how it was going to affect her, but she wouldn't bring it up. With a sigh she flopped over so her feet were at the head of the bed and her head hung over the foot. "Losers," she grunted, staring at the wall above her head. Whatever happened, she would hopefully get to take what she needed from the losing side, preferably this side . . . to escape would be nice, but she wouldn't get her hopes up too much right now.

Cannon's roared around him, spliters of wooden flying through the air, smoke covering the deck. Captain Dusk beside him looked somewhat crazed look in her eye. The time for revenge, well a little revenge, had come at last, and neither of them was going to let the opportunity pass by.
'With your leave Captain, Steve and I hae some business to attend to.' He bowed to her then raced to the mast where Steve was still happily swining in the rigging. Nimblely climbing up, Aramis picked up steve and drapped him around his neck, grabbed a rope, and swung over to the EITC ship.
Throwing Steve at the first sailor he saw, Aramis drew his sword and pistol, and charged at a small group of marines firing at The Midnight Hangman, oblivious to the continued canon fire. One fell to an expert shot from his pistol, the others joining him in death in quick succession. 'This is for you Viktor, my friend.' He muttered to himself, licking the warm blood from his sword. Aah, I had forgotten what fresh human blood tasted like. Grinning liked a lunatic he launched himself at another man, ripping out his throat his teeth. Vegance could be so sweet.

"Take the helm Norri, I have things to do." Captain Dusk took out her pistol and ran toward the edge of the ship, grabbing the nearest rope and swinging over the side. She landed on top of a navy soldier, and kicked another down. She shot the fallen one in the head and unsheathed her sword. She looked around, as she usually did at every EITC ship, just in case it should carry him. --- Cutler Beckett sipped his tea while watching his soldiers fight for him. Easily avoiding cannon fire. He didn't bother to draw his weapon as he approached the side of the ship. --- Norrington unsheathed his sword and sliced down any marine that got near him. It felt strange being on the other side, but his sword was as deadly as ever.

(Randomman starts to ram his way through many walls and enters an open area. Randomman stops to grab some cake invaders tea and runs off while drinking it.) Randomman: yohohohoho! (The cake invader calmly takes out a pistol and shoots the tea cup. Randomman pause and turns back to this cake invader.) Cake invader: looks like you had to waste a good cup of tea. Randomman: lies! You’re the one who shoot it! Stupid cake invader! Cake invader: I believe you mean Lord Beckett. (Beckett whistles in odd but musical pitch. Randomman stops and bows agenst his will.) Randomman: yes Lord Beckett (Beckett whistles a little louder. Randomman stars screaming in pain.) Beckett: Master Beckett sounds better doesn’t it? (Randomman calms down.) Randomman: Yes Master Beckett Beckett: come on Nightcoast dog let go greet your crew mates. Randomman: yes Master Beckett.

Zéphyrine stayed perfectly still for a while longer. . . She thought about joining the fight, but who to side with? Having such a horrible introduction to these people it seemed as though she'd want to kill them all, but for some reason she was thinking twice. The cannons didn't help her think, being so loud and potentially deadly. However, that wasn't the case, she still needed to decide. Rolling onto her side, she hung her arm over the edge of the bed and stared at the wall, what if she went ahead and killed them? She remembered clearly how she wanted to paint the walls with their blood earlier, but it might not be so easy now. . .

The dead bodies of sailors and marines littered the deck. Aramis looked around maniacal, his mouth a bloody grin. Oh how he hated them and their employers, if it wasn't for them everything would be different now. The Captain had joined him as well, fighting with more decorum than he did, gracefully moving from one foe to the next. Steve meanwhile was resting, the enemy avoiding this little dervish of death.
For only two fighters and a sloth, they were whittling away them away fast. Two revenge crazy vampires plus an attack sloth seemed to be an effective combination.
Aramis suddenly dropped to his knees in front of one of the bodies, dropping his sword. Around the neck of the sailor was the dried body of an albatross. How could someone have done such a thing! Killing a poor defenseless albatross was just evil! This sealed his view that the East India Trading Company was a thing of pure evil. Something else caught his eye, a lucky rabbits foot! This quickly went into his pocket, joining a growing collection of trinkets that he had liberated from the dead.
He swayed to one side, avoiding a swing from a cutlass, grabbed the hand holding it, and twisted it with a sickening crunch. Did these people have no respect for the dead?
