"Charming." He sipped his tea calmly and watched her over the side of his cup. "I will give you another day to reconsider your decision. Until then, I hope your stay in the brig is most comfortable. You'll be wishing you had accepted by offer." He smirked. "And by that I mean the tea of course. Take her back to the brig men." He ordered. The guards (who were all a good head taller than him) filed past and started to half drag Zephyrine back out the door.

Zéphyrine looked at him as if he suddenly turned into giant rabbit wearing a tutu and had flames for hair. "What?! NOOOOOOT fair. I thought the deal was only your earlier request, tea has nothing to do with it!" Okay, she already thought he was ridiculous, but GEE WIZ, what's with this guy? After a few seconds of heavy breathing in a sad attempt to calm herself down, Zéphyrine thought about trying to escape using brute force, but then they would actually have a reason to arrest her. "Fine." Her expression resembled a cat who'd just been irritated or had had her fur brushed the wrong way. . . but she wasn't about ready to let tea, or what had come to be her usual routine, get her into deep trouble.

"I knew you'd warm up to me." He signaled the guards to stop. "In that case, see the young lady to my quarters. I will return there shortly." He smiled smugly and sent the guards to take her to his quarters.
Norrington stroked the blue coat. Yes, this seemed to be the one. He would definitely take that one...except for the cream one that reminded him of pancakes. He sat in the store surrounded by the coats he liked.
Captain Dusk drifted off while leaning against the tree. In her dream she was waking up inside her cabin in the Hangman, but it wasn't the Hangman, it was the Silver Hawk back then. She felt the ship change course unexpectedly and went outside to see what was happening. That's when she saw the mutinous crew, and realized what they'd done.

Zéph looked about as happy as Paris Hilton's Chi Hua Hua as she was dragged to Beckett's quarters, which was actually strange for her. Generally she didn't find herself so angry in this situation . . . She knew it was how she met him. People can go up to her, but she was never, EVER taken to anyone in such a manner before, she'd never allowed it, and it was bugging her. However, she'd put up with torture until a more appropriate escape time, which would hopefully come soon. When she was released in his room she sat with her legs tucked under her and her back against the wall to brood in her frustration.

Whilst Norrington was busy working himself into an ecstay over the coat collection, Aramis was busy rummaging through pockets, searching for new goodies to add to his collection. So far he had found, well cut of, a bright gold button with a ship on it, and tucked under a table a peg leg for Rob. The table though had proceeded to fall to topple over for some reason.
'Hey Steve, do you want a coat to go with your waistcoat?' He petted Steve's head, and cocked his head to one side as though listening to him. 'I know i know, you're going to be a little too small for them. But I could try and alter one for you if you want. Oh, alright, when we get to France, I'll get one made special for you then. Fussy.' Steve raised one clawed hand slowly, and let it fall back on Aramis' shoulder as though patting him. 'Hmm, good point, I should get a new coat too, this one is a little dirty.'
Aramis began to look for a new coat as well, trying to find one with suitable large pockets. Tucked away on a rack at the back of the room he came across a hideous pea green coat with red stripes, and overly large, mutlicoloured, patched pockets. 'Excellent! What do think Jose? Good fine? What do you mean it's a hideous colour! Bah, who asked you anyway.' He picked the coat of the rack, tried on and looked at himself in spotted mirror. Ooh, looks good.
'Hey Norrington, have you finished yet? We still need to get that longboat!'

Norrington stood up wearing the blue coat, and carrying the deep red and light cream coats over his arm. If he was going to be a pirate properly, he figured he might as well start now. He looked at Aramis. "The colour does seem fitting." He started to leave, then stopped and dropped a few coins. "I noticed a shipyard not far from here as we came in, with our current funds we should easily be able to afford a new set, and here in Tortuga for under the price they would have cost us at Port Royal. Perhaps, pirating does have the occasional advantage." He smiled, a bit of his old irritating self confidence showing again.
Captain Dusk stood on the deck outside her ship, making sure that Gibbs' men didn't damage it as they loaded the new long boats into place.

(Randomman dances onwards towards the ship. Big Gun walks beside him while passing a fancy dress shop.) Big Gun: ….. (Randomman pauses from his singing) Randomman: You should go buy one Big Gun! Big Gun: no that’s ok. Randomman: you sure? Big Gun: Yes. We have to meet up with the rest of the crew. Besides I prefer my armor over those fancy things. Randomman: True. But you’d look super cute with anything on! Big Gun: …… (Big Gun shoots Randomman with her cannon.) Randomman: what I say?!!!!! (Randomman crashes into the newly built port beside the Midnight Hangman.) Worker: darn it all! (Big Gun helps Randommans head get unstuck. While the worker curses like sailors) Big Gun: sorry about that. Randomman: Yohohohoho! No problem! (They watch Gibbs’ crew at work together.)

Aramis fumbled inside his coat looking for something to pay with, but all he could find was a broken quill, the gold button from earlier, and what appeared to be a half eaten, slightly mouldy loaf of bread. Shrugging his shoulders, he placed the bread and quill next to the coins Norrington had dropped, and folded a scrap of paper into what may have been a swan like Captain Dusk had shown him.
'Come on then Norrington, lets go look at these long boats you're after.' He grabbed hold of Norrington's sleeve and dragged him from the shop, skipping his way towards the docks. Once again, Norrington disengaged himself from Aramis' grasp, and shouted something about not touching him, which Armis chose not to hear.
'Hey, Norrington, do my eyes deceive me, or is the Captain already loading some new longboats onto the ship?' He paused in his skipping to look down towards the ship. 'Well, guess we should head down there and have a looksee before we go buying more.' Without waiting he resumed his skipping, leaving an exasperated Norrington behind.
It didn't take long to reach the ship, and as he had thought, the Captain had indeed loaded the ship with two new, well nearly new, long boats, and had the crew under the directions of Gibbs loading the provisions onto the ship. 'Ahoy Captain, we come bearing coats! And it seems you have already sorted out the long boat problem for us.'

"Of course I did, I did say I wanted to stop by and see an old friend while we're here. I just happen to have useful friends aye Gibbs?" He nodded, far enough away that you could clearly tell he couldn't hear. "So then, are you two ready to set sail?" Norrington looked around awkwardly, then cleared his throat. "Master...er...Dusk, this is for you." He handed her the crimson coat he'd picked up. The Captain looked at it. "It is?" He nodded, feathers bouncing slightly. "AW THANK YOU!" She hugged him roughly, nearly tipping him over and grabbed it. "Righto, where are Random Man and that gun person lets get going! France awaits! Yay new coat..." She wonders off onto the ship.
Cutler Beckett walked across the ship toward his quarters, passed several marines. They looked at each other and shook their heads, this never went well. The last time he tried this he almost lost several vital organs. Beckett opened the door to his quarters and walked inside, closing it with a precise click. "Enjoying your stay, 'Miss Zephyrine' was it? Significantly more comfortable than the brig isn't it?" He looked around his quarters pointedly, his gaze falling on the larger-than-life portrait of himself, a piano, his bed.

Zéphyrine glared at him with such hostility she thought her head might explode. "Surprisingly," she forced herself to relax despite how badly she wanted to decorate the room with his organs. He seemed pretty determined. . . which generally made them easier to kill. ( muatata ) Getting up slowly, Zéphyrine moved to the bed, climbing on and sliding her legs up beside her. "I'm sure it could be better though," she said with the most fakely disappointed sigh before staring at him with the most evil grin in the history of evil. That's pretty evil. (muatata)

Randomman: Hotshot! France here we come! Big Gun: see you latter then. (Big Gun returns to paroling around the Midnight Hangman underwater.) Randomman: ok now to get to work! ......wait what is my job on this ship? (Randomman starts crawling on all fours.) Randomman: I'm sure it will come to me after I patrol the ship. I can’t let any cake invaders attack our ship! (Randomman patrols the ship.)

Aramis moved around the deck shouting orders to the now existant crew, taking his duties as first mate seriously for once. In short order they were underway, the island of Tortuga fast disappearing into the horizon. The new crew seemed to be competent at least, although Larry just didn't seem to be pulling his weight. He'd have to have words later.
Steve meanwhile was already hanging in the rigging, and seemed to be holding the peg leg that he had given to Rob, who was busy in the crowsnest doing, well, something. He shrugged, at least there was a crew this time, it meant less work for him. Looking around he smilled to himself, pleased with the quality of the new crew. Hopefully this time they wouldn't all run away.
'Captain!' he shouted, looking around the deck for the her, but couldn't see her. Who was steering this thing anyway? Rolling his eyes, he headed to the unmanned wheel, and took control. 'Well Jose, looks like it's just you and me steering this thing for now. Have you ever been to France?'

Captain Dusk was in her cabin and actually checking their course with a proper map that she'd bought from Gibbs. She stopped to drink a cup of tea (not rum ) and stroked the feathers of her hat, that was sitting on the desk beside the map, absently with her free hand. When she finishes she takes out a small book from her vest pocket and opened it. 'Dear diary, new coat yay!' There, that was good enough. She put it back in her pocket and went back to charting their course. --- Norrington was sitting in his quarters, which were as big and elaborate as the Captain's (big ship), looking over Aramis' journal again out of boredom. Having no real duty on the ship was somewhat tiresome. It was a pity at this point the chances were slim that he could return to the navy. Ah, he thought he saw something legible....wait...no. He spun his hat around on his hand and turned another page. --- Beckett's smugness only increased as the girl seemed to be warming up to the idea. "Oh? How so?" He walked up closer to her, sitting a hand on the bed beside her, but then standing upright again after seeing the scars on the back of his hand. "Perhaps, the company could be improved..." His smug smile returning momentarily. --- Norrington's hat stopped spinning. Ah, there was something legible here. 'Today the Captain Blacker brought aboard a new cabin 'boy', although I do have doubts as to whether it is a boy. But I trust the Captains decisions, so for now I won't pry into it too much. And it was about time that he found a new companion, someone to pass his experience onto. We are nearly ready to set sail back to the Caribbean, the Captain has acquired his letter of marque, and is looking forward to helping His Majesty in protecting England's interests as a privateer. It will be a change of pace from being a merchantman, but after nearly losing the ship to the Dutch on the last trip, I think that it will be for the best. The old crew though was not so pleased with the change of profession, and most have left. I hope though that our new crew will be better suited to our new life.'

Zéphyrine rolled onto her back so her head hung off the side of the bed. "You never told me your name. There's a start . . . It must be wonderous to suit a man as brave as yourself." Zéphyrine smirked at how false all she said was, but brushed it off as to restrain herself. Her gaze moved to the ceiling and her claws fiddled the loose ends of her corset laces teasingly, "It must be terrible dealing with all those pirates . . . It takes a brave man to do so, not knowing if you'll even see the light of another day." Inner Zéphyrine = ahahahahah sucker.
